SW..68.4kg
CW..67.8kg
Total Loss to Date..0.6kg
Hubby back home, so I am feeling a lot happier!
Managed to get to another meeting last night, so that I didn't have to wait another WEEK! to have that FIRST weigh in.
Was disappointed to have only lost .6kg!! as it was the first week! and I DID follow the plan properly.
I started HRT a week ago and maybe this has something to do with it?? It looks like it is going to be a harder effort this time around! but that is only going to make me MORE DETERMINED to stick with this and get to my set GOAL!!
No WAY! am I going to put on any more weight while I am going through this phase of my life! this is ONE TIME in my life when I WANT to be a TOTAL LOSER!!! Lol.
I need to up the anti on the old water intake and start back on some exercise! Two simple things to ask of myself?

??
Even though I am doing ok with WW! I feel I am lacking ??? I just don't know??
I have only been doing it for 5 days and have stuck to the points plan, but I just don't seem to feel the commitment I think I should be feeling??
There a couple of MAJOR issues going on with 2 of my children at the moment and I think I am just floating on NUMB!!! Probably why WW is a really good thing to be doing right now, as I could EASILY just do what comes naturally to me at times like this...COMFORT EAT "BIG TIME" PIG OUTS!!!
Missing Hubby so much, but only another 3 days until he is back.
Not throwing the towel in on the first week..NO WAY!! I can either SINK or SWIM? I choose to "SWIM".

Will get easier?
Although I am doing everything "I" should be doing in the first week of WW! I am finding it frustrating that Hubby didn't start at the same time as I did!!
His mission over the past 3 days has been to eat all the food that he can not have when he starts WW?? Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!
He has gone to Canberra to work for the next 5 days, so it will give me the time I need to sort out both our WW points plan, and I will not have to worry about what he is eating while he is away..because..I CAN'T SEE HIM!! lol.
At the moment I am finding it chilly in the mornings, so it is easy to settle for a bowl of oats made with a cup of Heart Smart low fat milk and a TBSP of golden syrup stirred through..very yummy and extremely filling.
I am utilizing recipes from Calorie King, Tony Ferguson and a lot of the suggested websites found on WAS. Makes life a lot easier when you can access so many sites and adapt them to your diet.
Must AWAY and discover something interesting for lunch? Smoked Salmon is high on the list...just what to create with it is the question?
See ya!

Fresh Start for 2008!
Well! here I am again, back to iron out the creases of the last 6 1/2 months!!!
Started back at Weight Watchers 'MEETINGS" last night, this time with Hubby in tow! and we are not leaving those meetings until we are both EXACTLY where we want to be at this stage of our lives!
Height=160cms
Weight=68.4kgs with an initial 10% Goal of 61.6kgs
Personal Goal=58kgs
Ultimate Goal=55kgs
Hubby will be away for the next 5 days or so, so he will start next week if he is back by the next meeting. Will fill in his details when I have them.
I feel I am ready to do this, but still have self doubt lurking around, especially with my track record of stopping and starting and NEVER finishing the things I DO start??
I guess it is time to prove to myself that for ONCE! I can trust myself and make it ALL the way through.
I will be updating this blog regularly and charting my thoughts and feelings and the ho hums of a determined LOSER!
Feel free to browse and join me on my mission!

I keep telling myself "I must get back and update my blog" and the day goes by and then the next day goes by and so on and so on!!
BUT! TODAY! I have siezed the moment and "HERE I AM".
I have been getting myself motivated to get right back into the frame of mind I need to continue the rest of my self improvement venture. I want to lose around 10kgs, but most importantly I want to tone and increase my fitness levels from "ZILCH" to "IMPRESSIVE".
I started out last week with 3 days on Treadmill doing 5 klms each time which roughly took me 50 to 55 mins.
I watched what I ate and drank 2-3 Litres water daily. Had a bit of a slump come Friday, as we were out all day at a Gardening Australia Expo and food choices were really poor..so skipped lunch, just had coffee! Had Tacos for Dinner with lots of extra salad, but maybe a little too much cheese?
Saturday was a Lunch out with a group of friends and just ordered what I really felt like eating, because that is what I felt like!! Chicken with Scallops(only 3-4) served on a bed of mash, with the most devine creamy mustardy sauce(probably not diet friendly?) and a small side salad.
Naturally washed down with ample glasses of Chardonnay!
HEY!! I aint no party pooper! Everyone was having such a great time and so was "I".
Sunday Brekky! I cooked Bacon, Eggs, Tomatoes and oven baked Foccacia and Coffee..All cooked the healthy friendly way.
Orange and Poppyseed muffin for lunch, straight out of oven!
Homemade healthy Pizza for Dinner.
*My main aim this week is to improve on last weeks effort and cover for the times I am not going to be home and may run into trouble?
*I will increase the Treadmill to an extra day, sticking to 5 klms.
*Pickup on water over the weekends, as that is when for some reason? I renege a little?
*Go through my winter clothes and pick out the tightest top, hang it on a hanger in a place that I have to pass every day and use it as incentive to push myself harder.
I am really happy that I took time out to finally update my blog as it has really helped me to refocus on what I set out to do! Get fitter and healthier and HAPPIER within myself.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, and feel free to drop by whenever you feel as I will be here from now on and would really love to get your feedback and advice along the way.
SEE YA! xo

Yesterday was a really good day! I stayed true to the 2 Litres Water, NO salt and the exercise.
I tracked in my food diary and exercise journal.
I was really disappointed that GRAVY did not come into CSIRO..sob! Had roast beef, baked potato, parsnip, pumpkin, carrots and beans...and NO GRAVY..sob!
Seeing hubby and I are going to slip into this plan for our future, once we have lost a reasonable amount of weight each...then! I reckon the odd GRAVY could be introduced back..yeh! Don't think I could go the rest of my life with a ROAST WITH NO GRAVY..eek!
Did 45 mins on treadmill before brekky.
Will show my food diary when I can work out how to print it here..blush!!
Feeling really pleased with myself, haven't even thought of going AWOL...it is good to get these early days behind me as then I get more motivated to not cave in.
Having Fresh Salmon Fillet..with a fresh vegetable bake for dinner and a Coffee Frappe..Homemade Weight Watchers style.
Got to learn more on blogging, site looks pretty drab and boring!! I need to jazzy it up a bit? Wonder if they have a Dummies Guide to Blogging? I have a few of these dummies books???Maybe I didn't need to share that..lol
WELL! time to go put the chooks, ducks and geese to bed, feed the dogs, and our 46 feathered friends(birds in aviaries) then it.s time to sit back and watch The Biggest Loser at 7pm..YEAH!
Drop by tomorrow and we will finish our chat!!

WEIGH DAY!
OKAY! First weigh in this morning officially for the New Year and...a "NOT" unexpected weight gain of 4kgs! since Christmas!!!(not good)
Height...160cms
Weight...64kgs
Ideally...Would like to lose 10kgs...or/55kgs!
This morning I got up and did a 2km walk at 5.0 on the Treadmill, keeping my heart rate above 90...have to check the book to see exactly what level my heart rate should be to make it effective?
I burnt 118.9 calories BEFORE I even sat down to Breakfast..lol.
Breakfast was Special K cereal...yoghurt...1 glass of prune juice(the plumbing needs attention!!) and Black Coffee which I always have.
I am really happy with the start of the day and I am determined to keep positive and focused on the goals I have set.
I am keeping a separate food diary and exercise journal and will update my progress on here along the way.
Doing this tracking and making daily deals to myself is the one way I have found REALLY works for me...so that is what I am going to do again.
SO! Today I am going to...
Drink 2 Litres Water!
LEAVE the salt shaker IN the pantry!
Get back to moisturising face, hands and legs!(I have discovered that if I feel good about myself and pamper myself a bit, then I am more likely to avoid temptation?? don't ask me how? it just works that way for me!!)
2kms on Treadmill...PLUS the Resistance Tube Program for CSIRO!
I reckon that is a good kick off to get me back on track and heading in the RIGHT DIRECTION!
